Forget the Government?

During the pandemic, frustrated by the paralysis of many governments and inspired by ordinary citizens, I published this op-ed in the Harvard Crimson. It was the beginning of what would become my, How to Be a Citizen (Basic Books, Bloomsbury, 2024) and Outlaw (Bloomsbury, 2025).
